OUR RISING STARS hair ACADEMY
Full time, In-House Apprenticeships Available - Level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing.
Working alongside the registered Academy Heart of England Training, Browns Hairdressing has a training academy in Stony Stratford and Market Harborough.
Apprentices visit one of the training schools once a week, where they run a column and work on clients and sit exams and complete relevant theory work.
We work closely with L’Oreal so each student is given extensive colour and retail training and we also offer in-house cutting and styling education. Our Assessors and educators work alongside our students to provide them with an individual learning plan, to make sure they progress through their qualifications effectively and thoroughly.
Our Apprenticeships are between 12-24 months for a level 2 NVQ in hairdressing.
Both of these are full time (40 hrs over 5 days). 95% of our apprentices, on completing the NVQ qualifications, stay working within Browns and move onto the salon floor in one of our salons, where they get the opportunity to carry on with their education and career. Apprenticeships are part-funded through the European Social Fund (ESF).
