The company is very much a family business, joint directors being Harry and Sally Brown. Son Tobi joined in October 1996 and is now the groups Artistic Director. With a passion for hairdressing, the Brown family insist on commitment to quality and excellence. Currently all five members of the family are part of The Browns Hairdressing Group, with Harry Brown Junior managing the Market Harborough Salon and more recently taking over the role of business director and daughter Lacey managing the new Stony Stratford salon and being part of Tigi's Inspirational Youth programme.
Brown's has been founded on the 365 philosophy - a business and profitability plan run to help hairdressing salons maximise their potential. It has provided a clear focus for Brown's and continues to be integral to the successful growth of the business.
With over 28 years experience in the hair industry, Browns Hairdressing Group was founded by Sally Brown and
established in the Buckinghamshire village of Olney in 1980.
The Group expanded in 1999 to incorporate a stylish flagship salon in the centre of Buckingham,
in 2000 at the Esporta Health and Fitness Club, Northampton, Market Harborough in 2002 and again in Harpenden in 2003,
and most recently in Stony Stratford 2007. Browns will look to expand again very shortly. We plan to open 4 more salons by 2010.
